The fourth villain in the Versus print series : Frank Booth.
This piece is based on the description “Dark, intense, fearsome, brutal”, which Santiago Uceda used to describe Rory’s Grendel print.
“Blue Velvet” was my first exposure to the work of David Lynch, and is still one of my favorite movies. The atmosphere is desperate and dark, and the performance of Dennis Hopper is one of the creepiest ever committed to film. There is always an air of mystery in Lynch’s work, as if the film is but a peek into another world; where the facade of suburbia hides everyones twisted secrets.
This print was created using silk screens, with seps created from yarn, spray paint, and cut paper.
New white packing board I got for @marykatemcdevitt s @etsy shipments (at Magnetic North)
